Less Waiting More Forging v1.0
Finished forging your weapon and don’t feel like watching the full reheating and hardening sequence every single time?
This mod skips the final tempering animations. As soon as you press “Temper and Finish”, the weapon is immediately completed and added to your inventory.
Henry has better things to do.
Blacksmithing in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is immersive, detailed, and visually impressive. The first few times.
After that, the final tempering sequence can start to feel unnecessarily long — especially when you’re forging multiple weapons in a row.
This mod streamlines the experience by removing the final reheating and hardening animations that normally play after selecting “Temper and Finish.” Once you complete the hammering phase and confirm the prompt, the crafting process ends immediately and the finished weapon is added to your inventory.
No extended heating loop.
No slow walk to the water barrel.
No forced downtime.
The core forging gameplay remains completely intact — you still hammer the piece, complete the shaping process, and interact with the minigame as intended. The only change is the removal of the final cinematic tempering sequence.
What this mod does:
– Skips the reheating animation
– Skips the hardening (water quench) animation
– Instantly completes the crafting process upon confirmation
What this mod does NOT do:
– Does not alter forging mechanics
– Does not change crafting balance
– Does not modify weapon stats
– Does not affect progression or perks
This is purely a quality-of-life improvement designed for players who value efficiency — Because Henry has better things to do.
