No Snitching v0.1

No Snitching v0.1

Changes how NPCs react to crimes by removing the ability for ordinary citizens to report you to the guards.

This mod will not work with any other mod that edits the social_class.xml file. Even if you load this mod last, the game cannot merge changes. Only one version of that file can be active. If another mod edits the same file, you must remove it, or the No Snitching mod will not work

No Snitching – NPC Crime Reaction Fix
This mod stops normal civilians from actually reporting you. They might still run to a guard like they usually do, but nothing comes of it. Only real authority figures can report crimes now.

Compatibility
This edits social_class.xml, so if you have another mod that changes the same file, they won’t work together. Only one version of that file can be active.

Who CAN Snitch
Basically actual authority types:
– Bailiff
– Watchmen / Guards
– Guard Leaders
– Soldier (Crime Authority)
– Huntsman (Crime Authority)
– Catchpole
– Security
– Fake Soldiers
– Monk
– Circaros

Who CANNOT Snitch
Pretty much everyone else in the game:
Villagers, craftsmen, farmers, traders, fighters, nobles, refugees, musicians, bandits, animals basically all non-authority NPCs.
They might run to a guard like usual, but the reporting part is disabled. Nothing comes of it.

What This Mod Changes
– Civilians don’t tattle
– Only actual law enforcement can report crimes
– Fistfights feel fairer
– Less weird NPC behavior during confrontations
– Works great with Civil Brawling
